Friday night was our ward Christmas party which included a visit from Santa. It was fun for Kevin and Ethan but not so much for Jake. Luckily Santa was a good sport. And Darren was ready with the camera for a good shot.
Now for a little story without a picture. We were sitting in Sacrament Meeting today singing the opening song (which was Joy to the World). Ethan turned to me and said, "Mom is this song Joy to the World, Barney's dead?" You can tell what Kevin has been teaching him.

That was a funny story. Sounds like something his dad might say! Good picture too. Michael played Santa's Helper at our Ward party last year and Camilla was so scared of him...she had no idea. And we had been to the mall and she had no problem sitting on that Santa's lap! Funny kids!
Santa Claus visits are so much fun. Our ward party is this Saturday morning. They announced it in Primary today, and our kids came home all excited.
Our Santa party was Saturday night! But, alas, I didn't get my picture taken with Santa.
Jingle Bells, Batman Smells...
You guys are lucky. My ward will not have Santa come to our parties because mixing Christ with Santa is taboo...
don't even get me started on trunk or treating!
Are you sure it wasn't Darren who taught him the "adjusted" words to the song? I know how much he loves Barney! Great photo--looks like Jacob likes Santa as much as his dad did at that age...
Kim,
Camilla must only be scared of the real Santa.
Carrie you should have them read the chidren's book "I beleive in Santa" You can get it at Deseret Book
