Braces

I have decided to get braces on my teeth. In order to do that, I had to have four teeth pulled this morning. That was not a fun experience. But it was quick and they are gone now. The worst part was being numb for four hours after. In order to take four teeth out they have to really numb you up. Now I am not numb anymore but I can only eat soft foods for 48 hours. So while everyone else ate grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots for dinner, I had mashed potatoes and refried beans. I have also eaten Jell-O, pudding and Carnation Instant Breakfast. Any other good ideas? Anyway, this picture is a before picture. I'll send more along the way. (But not of my mouth at this current time.)

Open up....I'll take a picture of your mouth now. That would be a cool entry!

you should make a pot roast in a crockpot with potatoes and carrots then you get the meat flavor and your food is soft.

Bean and Cheese burritos!
You totally should let Tracie take your picture today. That would be awesome, that way it could be a true documentary.
Did the ortho say how long you'd have your braces on? Good luck!

Two, maybe two and a half years with braces.

Hello!! This is your cousin. I worked for an orthodontist for 4 years, and I am an ortho assistant, if you ever have any questions! I love your blog - also I recommend wild flowers for the front yard. I planted Utah wildflowers when we lived in Wisconsin and they were so easy and lots of color. Miss you!

I didn't know you were an ortho assistant, Rebecca. I may be asking you some questions in the future.

My mouth hurts for you. You had a tough time with wisdom teeth, if I remember right. When do the braces come???

You DID make the appointment! Good girl. As gorgeous as you are now, Darren is going to have to hold onto you tight when this is all over!! So happy for you. Milk shakes and malts get my vote, but then I guess you want something healthy--okay, yogurt!
