Memories

Fine, I'll give in and do it, too.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory (or more) that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing (but you don't have to) and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember when we were riding our bikes past the church in Fayette one day, and Dixie Dorius stopped and accused us of sticking our tounges out at her. She made us apoligize to her, and we did, even though I knew we didn't stick out our tounges. Then, after she left, you admitted to me that you had stuck your tounge out at her. I was so mad.

I also remember cleaning Grandma and Grandpa Lyman's house, mowing lawns, and trips to Maxes to get treats. And, coming home from the bus stop when it stopped in front of Maxes. On hot days, we would run fast in the sun so we wouldn't melt, then when we reached the shade, we would walk slow, then run again in the sun. So much fun.

I remember swimming with your family, and I was terrified of the moss. You and Rose took turns showing me that you could touch it and it didn't hurt. I still think of that whenever I am in a lake or creek and there is moss.

I remember all those surgerys! 7 in 7 years! Most memorable was the one where we spent the 4th of July at Primary Childrens Hospital (the old one) and watched fireworks from the balcony!

I remember shandy and I were in Rexburg for a weekend and we were playing Kanasta. It was a heated game, boys against girls, it was later in the round and so you had to have a 900 points or something to lay down your first hand. I reminded Susan of this rule and she egotistically stated "Thats not going to be a problem!" Me and Darren never let her forget that to this day. It was hillarious.

I don't go back as far in the family as every one else, but I remember how grateful we were that you shared your husband with us to take pictures for our wedding. It meant a lot to us, and he did a great job! For a lot of years you were the sister that lived really far away. It's been great having you gys a little closer so that we get to see you more often.
